Upcoming working group on terrestrial food webs

From April 11 to 13 2022 Valdovinos' lab at UC Davis will be hosting a working group to develop theory on the Allometric Trophic Network model in terrestrial food webs. This working group is funded by the Jump Start Grant, awarded by the Center for the Advancement of Multicultural Perspectives on Science (CAMPOS) at UC Davis.




This working group will evaluate the current theory on terrestrial ecological networks and develop new approaches to understand their structure, dynamics, and function. Specifically, this group aims to overcome the challenge of applying the Allometric Trophic Network model to terrestrial systems where trophic interactions are not governed by allometric scaling.
